The main reason I got Brawl+ was to wavedash, and I can't seem to do it. Is it that this is a feature that had been removed? 


Also, I am using a classic controller, does that interfere?

Unfortunately, wavedashing was removed from Brawl+ a long time ago. Fortunately, there is a project that seeks to add it back in to make it more like melee.
